A mutual friend hosted an event at a New Hampshire restaurant that Riccio owned and invited him to attend. Leavitt, who was speaking at the event, crossed paths with him there.
At first, they were just friendly acquaintances, but as she put it, “we fell in love.” When Kelly asked if she had any reservations about the age gap, Leavitt admitted she initially did but emphasized, “He’s incredible, he’s my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend, he’s my rock.”
Leavitt also highlighted her husband’s accomplishments, emphasizing that he built a successful business. She shared that Riccio is now equally supportive of her career and personal growth. The couple also has one child together, and Leavitt described him as “the best dad I could ever ask for.”
